do note that the jacket itself is $35, addition of $5 for names. and that the design is similar to our jersey. thanks.

hey guys.

sorry to make this sound like we are trying to force those who do not want the jacket to buy it. but please understand that this is a team jacket so if we want it, we buy it as a team.

its like for example, your class wants to make a class tee. its unnecessary and you do not need it, but because the majority of the class wants it, thus everyone has to buy it as everyone is part of the class. the same applies for this jacket. yes, we already have the jerseys but the jerseys are a MUST in order for us to compete in the tournaments.

think of the jacket as a momento of being part of Team TJC Bowling. you can continue wearing it and always remember that you are always part of the TJBowling family.

to those who really have difficulties, please do not hesitate to approach me or mr ng. i'm sure we can work a solution out together. thanks.

Hey! 1st time posting! Wahaha! Anyways, this post is regarding the proposed jackets. So listen up.

We are requesting the whole team to vote on the jacket again, after a few unexpected incidents. After discussing with Mr Ng, we have decided to ask you all to vote again. Please read the following important points...

1. If MORE than/equal to 5 people state that they do not want the jacket, we will proceed with making the jacket for the whole team except those people.
2. If LESS THAN 5 people state they do not want the jacket, we will proceed with ordering for the WHOLE TEAM. This decision has been undertaken by the committee and Mr Ng.
3. Those people with problems and are unable to buy/afford the jacket may approach Yee Tien or Mr Ng to rediscuss/ renegotiate the jacket.
4. If you do not submit a vote before 11.59pm, 24th March 2007, Saturday, your vote will automatically be taken as a yes.
5. You are voting for or against the $35 jacket. Requests for the $30 jacket will not be entertained.
6. The only ways to vote are either to comment on this post or SMSing YEE TIEN.
7. Please state CLEARLY whether you are FOR or AGAINST the jackets. Do NOT give half-half votes like "not sure". Thanks!

Tommorrow is the start of your fight. But remember, you are THE TEMASEK JUNIOR COLLEGE BOWLING TEAM B' DIVISION SQUAD. You are the elite team of girls to take down the national competition for us.

There is no such thing as a senior, junior , reserve or no choice then go in one, Mr Ng had the choice not to bring you all in, but he did, for one sole reason, you have what it takes. We have nothing to lose, so take your time to STRUT, fear NO TEAM, NOTHING will scare us.

Feel confident that you will come from behind and kick someone's ass. If anything, return to basics, relax, dont look back and remember why you came so far in the first place. Embrace each stike and rejoice each spare.

Last thing. Know for every butterfly in your stomach, every open frame , every word from the coach, every pain in your body, every smile and every revolution of your ball, there will be a little prayer from us, made for you to do your best and have a good time.

well we just felt that we owe you guys an apology la.

we do not deny that there are problems within the committee, but we assure all of you that we are trying our best to resolve them among ourselves.

to those of you who have felt that we should have done a better job, we apologize for letting you all down.

to those of you who have been disappointed with our actions, we apologized and assure you all that we are trying our best and we are just humans who make mistakes sometimes.

regarding the decisions that the exco have made, we hope to have all of your support as we believe that all decisions made are in the best interest for the team.

jackets and deposit

Hey ya. Please bring $35 on Monday for the 2 polo shirts. I'll be at the table near to ZAP in the canteen at around 7, so if you want to pay me then, it would be good.. If not, drop me an SMS any time of the day and maybe we can meet or something.

There will be a $20 subsidy so you would be only paying $13, but bring $33, because the subsidies won't be granted until a later date, and we've got to pay the aunty the deposit by Monday so she can start printing. :)

The aunty will be passing us samples of the jackets (to see the sizes, if you people are still keen on getting the jacket) and also cloth with silver/gold words printed on it. because she said that the effect might not be as nice since the font won't be too metallic.

Uhh. Oh, and she also sent me pictures of the jackets:

Hm, click on the pictures to have a better look. The first 3 are the cheaper jackets, pricing at about $30, inclusive of printing and everything. The jackets shown are of course just the design without the printing and everything yet.





This is nicer looking yeah? But nicer looking = More $$$!! Heehee. Uh, should be about $35 with printing.
